Joey Scouts - Tree Planting

The Kwinana Council have organised a tree planting event at Lake Mangenup in Wandi. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will run a little different to usual.

Joeys need to work in pairs to plant their trees, it is not a task easily done alone at their age. We would normally buddy them up with another Joey, but due to social distancing requirements, I need to ask that any Joey attending comes along a with another member of their household to be their planting partner (parent, sibling etc). Any adults attending must fill out an A5, any one under the age of 18 who is a member of Scouts WA must fill out a Y3. Non-members under 18 are not required to fill out a form.

Joeys will also need to bring with them their own gloves, and if possible a trowel and/or rubber mallet. Usually the equipment is supplied, but the sharing of equipment is being strongly discouraged.

Can joeys please wear their group shirt and scarf with long pants and weather appropriate clothing; please don't forget to bring a water bottle and hand sanitiser.

I need to register our attendence with the council by this Thursday, so if you can please register your attendence here by then that will be great.
